KM2689 Then and Now by Kit Hevron Mahoney

This scene was found on Rabbit Ears Pass in mid summer. It was an abandoned mining town left to the wildflowers which surrounded it with their warm, bright yellow hues. These scenes always leave one wondering about the lives that were lived here, their thoughts, feelings, daily routines and the ruggedness of the individuals who endured life before today's amenities. I love creating works that leave a viewer always engaged with wonder and questions.
